LEADING CULTURE DESTINATIONS:
Annette and Daniela Felder are the twin creators of FELDER FELDER, a luxury fashion label launched in 2006 while the pair were still studying at Central Saint Martins.
Their bold, yet modern and sensual aesthetic, has won FELDER FELDER the respected New Gen Award for three consecutive seasons, a nomination for The British Fashion Awards 2008, a celebrity following, and the support of the most sought after stores in the World.
If there was one piece of art you could feature in, which one would it be?
We would love to have been portrait by Andy Warhol and we are still dreaming about launching our own 'Factory' at some point in our career.
Who inspires you?
Everything always starts with our mother, Brigitte Felder. She is the best, the most glamourous person we have ever met. And then we have our friends who we think are the most creative and inspiring people for us... Perhaps that is the beginning of our own 'Factory'.
What are your cultural aspirations?
We would love to make a road trip through the US and then go the the Natural History Museum in Utah. It looks amazing! And who knows, hopefully one day our clothes will be part of an exhibition in a museum like MoMA or the V&A.
What are your favourite cultural cities in the world?
We have never been there, but we would love to go to Rome. This is really the one place we would love to see. Then of course we love Paris and Berlin.
What are you up to at the moment?
We just launched our online store which was a major step for us and we're very proud of it...Of course you can also shop our collection at Browns Focus in London, Jades in Duesseldorf or at Space in Paris ;-) And we just wrapped London Fashion week with the AW 2013 collection, it's the first time we integrated latex (in collaboration with Vin & Omi) so look out for it.
