Today his company Kofler & Kompanie covers gastronomic and catering concepts from pop up to catering to the German chancellor. He two decades experience in catering for the premium market from prestigious gastronomy events, to pop-up art collaborations to major  sporting events.

If there was one piece of art you could feature in, which would it be and why?

I'd love to have my portrait made by Jonathan Yeo.

Who inspires you and why? An artist, a family member, someone current or historical?

Obviously Olivia (Steele, Creative Director at Pret A Diner) has really fuelled my interest in art over the years, but my passion really is food and the interaction with customers in the Food & Beverage world. Traveling to places like Burning Man, or going for an olive oil tasting in Puglia is what I find truly inspiring.

What are your cultural aspirations? What do you still want to see, do and achieve?

I’d love to visit Inhotim in Brazil.

What are your favourite cultural cities in the world and why?

Sao Paulo is high up on my list since I spend so much time in Brazil, but I love Berlin too – its water is not stagnant but still very, very deep.
